the night beautifully empowers. it creates a world separate from the day. a world to be conquered. a world waiting to be ruled. people underestimate the night and fear it. they abuse those hours of darkness, hours in which anything can happen, by falling asleep hiding in their blankets in hopes the masters of the night won't find them. those who stay awake have tremondous power. nothing is more submissive than unconciousness; no state more exploitable. those who let themselves sleep cannot even beg for mercy at the feet of those who rule the night for they are passed out on the floor, unable to protect themselves from the will of those brave enough to live in the dark.
