Their arms encircled each other in a loving embrance. Three minutes later they were naked, standing in hot streams of water in their homes asking themselves what went wrong with that night. He reached over for the soap; it wasn't there. She tried to get the shampoo; there wasn't any. They improvised; he used shampoo for soap; she used soap in her hair. It didn't work well. His towel was gone. She couldn't find her conditioner. He was forced to air dry; she had to go without.
