He stared off into the tiny squares of the kitchen table. It pulled away into a pure white slab of boxes with thick black barriers delineating them like in a neoplastic painting. Trenchs of abyssal darkness cut off each pale faced square from each other. Some wide, some tall, all alone. Alone and on display. Passers by stop in attempt to understand their plight but stay marred in their own world of errors, problems, and troubles.
